 One receiver apprehended  One mobile phone recovered The team of PS Sunlight Colony of South East District has apprehended one receiver of stolen mobile phone Vinod Ahiwar. With their apprehension, one stolen mobile phone has been recovered from his possession. INCIDENT:- On 17.02.2021, an e-FIR No. 000152/21 u/s 379 IPC was registered at PS Sunlight Colony regarding theft wherein complainant stated that on 14.02.2021, he was waiting for bus near metro station, Railway road, Sarai Kale khan. When he was boarding in the bus meanwhile someone has stolen his mobile phone from pocket. Accordingly, investigation was taken up. TEAM & INVESTIGATION:- Sensing the gravity of offence, a dedicated team comprising of HC Ram Kumar and Ct Satish led by SHO/ Sunlight Colony under the supervision of ACP/Lajpat Nagar was constituted to nab the culprits. The team put the IMEI number of the stolen mobile phone on surveillance. It came into the notice that the said mobile phone was active with the sim numbers that were different from complainant numbers. The ownership detail of the active number was obtained. With the help of technical surveillance and analysis of CDR, the team apprehended the one accused person. On enquiry, the person was identified as Vinod Ahiwar s/o Omprakash Ahiwar R/o Village Ikara, Bandar, Madya Pradesh, age 40yrs. During investigation, the accused person was bound down under 41.1 CrPC and the recovered mobile phone was seized. INTERROGATION:- On sustained interrogation, accused Vinod disclosed that he had purchased the said mobile phone from unknown person in Rs. 2000/- for his personal use. He has no information about the phone that this is stolen mobile phone. RECOVERY :- 1. One mobile phone PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:- 1. Accused Vinod Ahiwar s/o Omprakash Ahiwar R/o Village Ikara, Bandar, Madya Pradesh, age 40yrs is illiterate. He works as a labor on daily wages. He is the receiver of the stolen mobile phone.
